We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior CAMO Engineer to join our Continuing Airworthiness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in aircraft maintenance and airworthiness management, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
The Junior CAMO Engineer will assist the CAMO Engineering team in maintaining and controlling aircraft documentation and records in accordance with EASA and National Authority requirements. This role supports the Continuing Airworthiness Manager in coordinating maintenance planning and ensuring the continued airworthiness, operational efficiency, and safety of Hyperion Aviation’s managed fleet.
Competencies and Requirements:
- Engineering Degree (any field) or EASA Part-66 B1/B2 License.
A ‘relevant engineering degree’ means an engineering degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or other studies relevant to the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components.
- Experience with aircraft technical documentation.
- Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems such as CAMP or TRAXXALL
- Knowledge of applicable regulations: EASA Part-M, Part-CAMO, Part-145, and National Authority requirements.
- Understanding of Safety Management Systems.
- Training in:
- Fuel Tank Safety (CDCCL) Level 2 (IAN 08).
- Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) Training for Target Group 5 (Qualified staff performing other engineering or planning work on in-service aeroplane (IAN 19)).
- Knowledge of Human Factors Principle (Human factors training).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Tasks and Specialties:
- Establish and maintain all aircraft records, ensuring all documentation is up to date and complete.
- Control and track all manufacturer documentation revisions.
- Assess and evaluate Service Bulletins (SBs), Engineering Orders (EOs), and Airworthiness Directives (ADs/AWs) for applicability and ensure timely incorporation.
- Manage the active technical library, analyse maintenance data revisions for effectiveness, and ensure the availability of relevant information.
- Maintain and update documentation onboard aircraft, including CofA, CofR, ARC, Noise Certificate, and Radio Licence.
- Assist in selecting/contracting and monitoring aircraft maintenance suppliers.
- Receive, check, and store Aircraft Technical Log (ATL) data; update maintenance tracking software (CAMP, TRAXXALL, etc.).
- Track and monitor oil consumption and aircraft utilization.
- Maintain aircraft dent and buckle charts.
- Maintain Weight & Balance reports and submit updated forms to the Operations Department.
- Ensure used ATL books are properly stored and tracked, with copies saved to the server.
- Assist with Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) reviews, extensions, and coordination.
- Raise occurrence reports when necessary.
- Participate in internal and external audits, assisting with analysis of findings, corrective actions, and preventive improvements.
- Prepare reports, statistics, forms, and letters as requested by management.
- Organize office logistics (e.g. sending documents to aircraft, filing, and archiving).
- Support the Engineering Manager and Continuous Airworthiness Manager as required.
The successful candidate will be offered a starting annual salary between €25,000 and €30,000 (commensurate with experience), excluding allowances, along with comprehensive health insurance coverage, a flexible work schedule to support work-life balance, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, international, and growth-oriented environment.
