We are looking for a Head of Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation. Responsible to the Civil Aviation Department of Transport Malta, as the Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM) you will need to take an active role in overseeing a team responsible for managing aircraft from four different manufacturers.

Overall Purpose of Position
The CAM has the responsibility for the entire Continuing Airworthiness System and shall ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft and the serviceability of both operational and emergency equipment. The CAM is accepted by TMCAD and reports to the Accountable Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet the minimum requirements as laid down by the Civil Aviation Department of Transport Malta (EASA CAMO.A.305, and TMCAD IAN No. 22).
- Previously held a similar position in a CAMO organisation with a minimum of two years of experience as Manager of a Continuing Airworthiness Organisation.
- Experience within the Corporate Aviation field would be beneficial.
- Have strong skills around communication and relationship management not only internally but also externally.
- Strong financial ethos that delivers budgetary compliance.
- Right to live and work unrestricted in Malta.
- Expect to travel worldwide as required by company requirements.
Person Specification
Education
- A relevant Engineering degree or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification with additional education acceptable to Transport Malta.
A ‘relevant engineering degree’ means an engineering degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or other studies relevant to the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components.
