| We are seeking experienced and driven professionals to join our team in Malta as Compliance Monitoring Coordinator (CMC) for both Operations (OPS) and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO). These are key EASA-mandated positions responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, safety performance, and continuous improvement across the organisation. The Compliance Monitoring Coordinator will report directly to the Head of Compliance Manager Monitoring. Be able to work independently in a dynamic and varied operation with multiple Centres of activity. |
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Responsible Managers in identifying, addressing, and resolving non-conformities by providing practical, risk-based recommendations and guidance to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and organisational requirements.
- Liaise with Transport Malta Civil Aviation Directorate (TMCAD) inspectors and other regulatory authorities, as required, in relation to company applications, approvals, audits, findings, corrective action plans, and the submission of mandatory occurrence and safety reports.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate audit closing meetings with Heads of Department and Responsible Managers, formally raising audit findings and ensuring the effective completion of Root Cause Analyses and the implementation of appropriate Root Cause Corrective Actions in collaboration with the Compliance Monitoring Manager.
- Monitor and verify the timely implementation and effectiveness of agreed corrective and preventive actions, ensuring that findings are closed within established deadlines and in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Facilitate and support Risk Assessments, Safety Risk Management activities, and Management of Change processes on behalf of, and under the direction of, the Safety and Compliance Monitoring Department management, ensuring risks are appropriately identified, assessed, mitigated, and documented.
- Support the development, maintenance, revision, distribution, and tracking of company manuals, procedures, policies, and associated documentation, ensuring effective document control and version management in accordance with organisational requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the Safety Department in the management of safety-related activities, including occurrence reporting, investigations, risk assessments, safety promotion initiatives, and the implementation of safety improvement actions, providing support and assistance whenever required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Company’s Compliance Monitoring and Safety Management Systems by promoting regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and a proactive safety culture throughout the organisation.
Profile & Experience:
- Possess a technical or aeronautical degree and has undergone formal training in auditing techniques.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of aviation regulations and requirement for ad hoc private aviation business.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
