As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and licensed certifying Aircraft Technician to join our Belgian Aircraft Maintenance Department. This role is based in Antwerp, Belgium. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in continuing airworthiness management and regulatory compliance, along with a proactive mindset and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.

Competencies:

  • EASA PART 66 AML B1 without limitations and with at least one active type rating.
  • Candidates with both B1 and B2 qualifications are preferred.
  • Type ratings for Dassault Falcon, Cessna Citation, Pilatus PC-24 or Bombardier Global are a big plus.
  • Analytical minded team player with good communication and negotiation skills, who is able to work under pressure and in full autonomy.
  • Experience with the specific needs of Business and Commercial Aviation is beneficial.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is a must.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work and reside in EU.

Tasks and Specialities:

This role involves performing line and base maintenance on new, high-value business jets within an EASA Part-145 organization, and will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Performing Maintenance Tasks in compliance with PART-145 regulations.
  • Leading maintenance projects for both line and base maintenance.
  • Assessing the tasks performed by Unlicensed Mechanics.
  • Verifying correct procedures and manuals have been used to perform the maintenance tasks.
  • Verifying tasks have been performed and recorded correctly according to PART-145 regulations.
  • Identifying and communicate weaknesses in safety and security.
  • Training and coaching apprentices.
