We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CAMO/MCC Engineer to join our dynamic Continuing Airworthiness and Maintenance Control team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in aircraft maintenance and airworthiness management, with the ability to coordinate effectively between Engineering, CAMO, and Operations departments.
The CAMO/MCC Engineer plays a key role in ensuring the continuing airworthiness, maintenance coordination, and operational readiness of Hyperion Aviation’s managed fleet. This position ensures all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures, contributing directly to the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our operations.
Competencies and Requirements:
- Aircraft maintenance licence or completed technical apprenticeship training, aeronautical technical school or a relevant engineering degree. Credit may be given by the CAM depending on the individuals experience and aircraft technical training.
A ‘relevant engineering degree’ means an engineering degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or other studies relevant to the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar position. Other aviation related work experience will be reviewed on case by case basis.
- Knowledge of CAMP maintenance tracking systems.
- Fuel Tank Safety Training (CDCCL) Level 2 (IAN 08).
- Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) Training for Target Group 5 (Qualified staff performing other engineering or planning work on in-service aeroplane (IAN 19)).
- Knowledge of the safety management systems based on the EU management system requirements (including compliance monitoring) and ICAO Annex 19.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations (Part-M, Part-CAMO, Part-145).
- Knowledge of Human Factors Principle (Human factors training).
- Strong coordination and communication skills across departments.
- Analytical mindset with a “hands-on” approach to problem-solving.
- Financial and contractual awareness related to maintenance activities.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and proactive.
- High attention to detail and organizational accuracy.
- Applicant has to be in possession of the necessary residence permit and work license.
Tasks and Specialties:
- Monitor the airworthiness status of the fleet.
- Plan and contract maintenance tasks (including ADs, SBs, STCs, Mods, and deferred discrepancies).
- Plan and contract unscheduled maintenance events (AOGs).
- Authorise necessary maintenance through Work Orders, Purchase Orders, or Service Orders.
- Review RTS documentation for completeness and accuracy in accordance with the work order provided to the maintenance organisation.
- Follow up with MROs to obtain completed work packs.
- Ensure work packs are properly closed in the maintenance tracking system.
- Maintain close coordination with CAM, Operations, and Key Accounts to optimise maintenance scheduling and flight planning for maximum operational efficiency.
- Monitor Hold Item List (HIL) entries and maintain records of HIL documentation.
- Raise occurrence reports when required.
- Organise, in cooperation with the Operations Department, initial and recurrent flight crew training for pre-flight inspections.
- Apply for exemptions such as permits to fly, SRPSAs, etc.
- Manage purchasing, ordering, and logistics coordination (including shipment of parts if required).
- Ensure correctness of modifications, emergency equipment, dent and buckle charts, mass and balance statement, etc.
- Establish, review, and maintain aircraft technical records to ensure completeness and regulatory compliance.
- Assess and incorporate Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Engineering Orders (EOs), and other continuing airworthiness requirements.
- Manage oil consumption tracking, utilisation reporting, and maintain updated aircraft technical libraries and certificates (CofA, CofR, ARC, Noise Certificate, etc.).
- Support the Airworthiness Review process, including preparation and submission of documentation to authorities.
- Support financial control of maintenance budgets, invoices, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
