Client Support Officer

Part of the Flying Group, Hyperion Aviation Ltd.  is a premium aircraft management and charter company specialising in bespoke asset management and operation of private aircraft on a commercial basis. 

We are looking for a Client Support Officer to join our Key Account Managers (KAM) Team. Reporting to the Head of KAM, the ideal candidate will be accustomed to working in diverse cultural environments.

Tasks and Specialities:  

  • Assist Key Account Managers to review daily flight activities and ensure all details are correct. 
  • Help to compile and organize documents related to accounts and contracts. 
  • Assist KAMs in responding to queries regarding invoices and resolving any issues as needed. 
  • Collaborate with KAMs to review and approve any unusual invoices before they are sent to clients. 
  • Ensure financial accuracy of categories in the financial software, including cost, sales values, and flight classifications. 
  • Crosscheck invoices against contracts and confirm that crew expenses align with agreed policies. 
  • Maintain and follow up on an efficient internal process for filtering or searching approved and in-process invoices. 
  • Maintain positive working relationships with vendors, crew, and departments. 
  • Summarize commercial terms of provider contracts and centralize data for future cross-checking. 
  • Assist in analysing discrepancies between budgeted and actual billing amounts. 

Competencies: 

Knowledge and Experience 

  • Able to use Microsoft software such as Excel, Word etc. at intermediate level. 
  • Experience in a similar role will be considered an asset. 
  • Knowledge of the aviation operational industry is considered an asset. 
  • Ability to review and ensure accuracy in flight activities, invoices and financial entries. 
  • Skilled in crosschecking and identifying discrepancies in data. 
  • Analysing budget variances and billing discrepancies. 
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles. 
  • Has good communication skills, both written and verbal. 

Education:  

  • A Level standard of education 
  • Possession of financial related certificates are considered an asset.
