We are seeking experienced and driven professionals to join our team in Malta as Compliance Monitoring Manager (CMM) for both Operations (OPS) and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO). These are key EASA-mandated positions responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, safety performance, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with:
- EASA Part ORO, Part CAMO, Part M, Part 145.
- 965/2012 Air OPS & 1321/2014 Airworthiness Regulations.
- TMCAD OAN Notice No. 08/19 and IAN No. 22.
- Hyperion Compliance, Safety, and InfoSec Manuals.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Compliance Monitoring Programme.
- Conduct audits and ensure proper follow-up and closure of findings.
- Support competent authority oversight activities.
- Monitor root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain an effective reporting and feedback system to the Accountable Manager.
- Collaborate with nominated postholders across OPS and CAMO.
Profile & Experience
- Technical / Aeronautical / Engineering degree.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience (2 years in aeronautical industry – OPS/CAMO).
- At least 2 years’ experience as a compliance auditor.
- Certified in auditing techniques.
- Training in Air OPS (965/2012) and Airworthiness (1321/2014) regulations.
- Strong knowledge of EASA Part OPS, CAMO, Part M, and Part 145.
- Experience with Centrik and WebManuals systems.
- Expertise in management systems (OPS / CAMO / IS).
- Knowledge of EASA Part IS regulations.
- Practical experience in aviation safety standards and best practices.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and managerial skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Additional (CAMO-specific):
- Knowledge of maintenance methods.
- Fuel Tank Safety, EWIS, and Human Factors training.
- Familiarisation with aircraft types operated by Hyperion (e.g., Global 5000/6000, Challenger CL850, Learjet 45, Textron series).
General Requirements
- Acceptable to Transport Malta Civil Aviation Directorate (TMCAD).
- Strong managerial and organisational skills.
- Ability to liaise effectively with authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Capability to support oversight activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
