The Flight Operations Officer is responsible for performing administrative and operational duties at a professional level. They shall work closely with the Head of Flight Operations as well as other operationally critical departments, to ensure that the Flight Operations Fleet office runs smoothly. They are crucial to the smooth and efficient running of the Fleet Office and they provide guidance and assistance to the Head of Flight Operations at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Crew Management:
Coordinate with Lead Pilots to ensure timely flight crew rosters; escalate conflicts to avoid aircraft going uncrewed. Manage crew access to operational platforms.
Operations Library:
Maintain aircraft manuals and documents on Web Manuals & Centrik; upload certifications and memos; complete monthly checklists.
Crew Training:
Support pilot recruitment, licensing, training, and per diem reconciliations in collaboration with the Training Department.
HR Support:
Assist with pilot recruitment and crew allowances in partnership with HR.
CAMO Support:
Help manage aircraft airworthiness and equipment standards.
Requirements:
Education:
A-levels or equivalent; a degree or aviation training (e.g., pilot license) is a plus.
Experience & Skills:
- Knowledge of EASA and TM CAD regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
- Understanding of flight crew operations
- Strong administrative, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, independently or in a team
- English proficiency (ELP Level 5 or above)
