We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic MCC Engineer to join our CAMO Department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in a maintenance control center environment, ensuring the continuous airworthiness of aircraft while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Competencies:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation or in an aviation related position.
  • Practical experience and expertise in the application of Aviation Safety Standards, Compliance, Safety Management System and Safe Operating Practices.
  • Knowledge of Aviation Legislation (EU OPS, Part 21, Part 145, Part M & Part CAMO) is required.
  • Prior experience with Manual/Procedure reading, development, and writing.
  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Aeronautical Engineering, and/or Part-66 Cat B1/B2/C licensed, and/or extensive practical knowledge and experience as a CAMO Engineer is a must.
  • Analytical minded team player with good communication and negotiation skills, who is able to work under pressure and in full autonomy.
  • Able to cultivate and maintaining strong customer relationships and act as a company ambassador.
  • Experience with MS Office, CAMP Systems, Centrik and Web Manuals is beneficial.
  • Experience with the specific needs of Business and Commercial Aviation is beneficial.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is a must.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work and reside in Malta.

Tasks and Specialties:

  • Active management of MCC tasks, such as
    • Monitoring airworthiness status of fleet.
    • AD, SB Evaluation and updating of Maintenance Programmes and Maintenance Software.
    • Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.
    • Ensuring timely and accurate aircraft recovery for unscheduled/AOG events.
    • Review RTS for completion and correctness in accordance with the work order provided to the maintenance organization and uploading RTS documents to tracking system.
    • Monitoring of HIL Items and maintaining records of HIL Documents.
    • Maintaining Aircraft Records.
    • Representing Hyperion and aircraft during maintenance inputs.
    • Keep close relation to the; CAM, Operations, Ground Operations and Key Accounts to coordinate efficient operation of aircraft.
    • Reviewing and approving maintenance related invoices.
  • Assist with the day-to-day activities of the CAMO Departments and projects.
  • Assist in Internal and External Audits and closure of their findings.
  • Participate in the implementation and improvement of the Safety Management System.
  • Control, manage and develop procedures, plans and contracts in conjunction with the Continuing Airworthiness Manager.
  • Additional work as deemed necessary.
