Before joining Hyperion Aviation in 2021, Jamie was a dedicated Compliance Monitoring Auditor at VistaJet Ltd since 2018. He managed primarily Flight Operations and Approved Training Organisation (ATO), and he also worked in the Continuing Airworthiness Management Systems. He was instrumental in leading internal annual audits, optimising company operations, and auditing third-party suppliers, among others.
Previously, Jamie worked as a Training Coordinator at Aeronautical Professionals Malta (MCM Group) where he created type courses for Bombardier and Learjet aircraft under EASA Part 147, leveraging his aviation background and mechanical engineering expertise.
Jamie started his engineering career as an Engineering Intern at the Technical Facilities Department of Malta International Airport in 2016. He worked on maintaining HVAC systems, lift systems, fire-fighting vehicles, and baggage handling systems, among others, gaining valuable hands-on experience in airport operations, maintenance, and security.
Jamie holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Malta since 2018, as well as an EASA Part FCL Private Pilot License since 2014. Certified in various international aviation regulations and safety standards, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role, contributing to the continuous improvement of compliance monitoring and safety within the aviation industry.
